I have been looking for someplace decent to post for a while. My IQ goes down every time I read one of those white trash posts from Toledo fans on ncaabbs. It drives me crazy.

It doesn't have anything to do with you ticking off just about everyone on the board, does it, Millenium?

I had a slight disagreement with a few moderator decisions (more than many people can imagine) so I wanted to go out with a bang. I remember waaay back when, essentially the same core group of MAC fans had such a great, cordial message board. The real kickin rivalry was WMU-CMU, and those guys were friggin hilareous. I moderated that board. It was fun.

fast forward to now, and it sucks.

I am tired of having Joe Dirt ruin threads with his Toledo schtick. I am tired of people debating like this: Player a is better, there really is no comparison. They spout opinion like gospel....it has just deteriorated into every other lame-ass message board out there when it used to kick ass. It is a bunch of rah-rah a-holes who are taking over the board. The RedSteve's and Schadenfreude's of the world are outnumbered.

Bottom line - I can't stand people who won't 'fight fair' when they debate. I also think there has to be some accountability to tell the friggin truth once in a while. Finally, I wish just once this past year, one of these classless morons would say "you were right, my bad." or "I didn't realize that, I see your point," when they make claims like Ball Stateor CMU have never been good, or who wouldn't want to play on the new fake turf rather than grass.

Anyhow, I want a new hangout. I wanna go where the people know, your troubles are all the same, I wanna go where everybody knows your name...

Nathan tried to get one going on google-groups but I think it had some technical difficulties. I haven't heard much about it in a while. His old listserv is still running on BGSU servers, too, but it only has a handful of members anymore.
