NFL Draft......

Odd that I'm the first to start this thread. Must be a consensus that no one here thinks BG player will get drafted at all. I'm hoping Parks gets a call in the 6th or 7th Rnd. Markray has a slight shot as well, depends on his deemed athletism as his size and strength shouldn't be the issue there. Parks will have to either bulk up a bit more or if he has the necessary quickness and speed to play OLB. Thoughts?

to espn's players page and looked up Parks name and nothing. Looked under schools and found 1 player under our name Markray as being in the draft. Don't know if this means Parks didn't declare or if he wasn't considered draftable. Boise St's got like 10 players or so in the draft. They got Markray listed at 6'4 & 363 lbs for OG. 40 time was 5.34 so strength better be big in Big D.

Markray is the only who will be drafted, sometime tomorrow afternoon

It's breaking my hear to see Quinn still sitting there.

I almost didn't finish reading your post. I feel even better this year with Quinn sitting there than I did last year with Leinheart sitting there. I actually did feel bad for a tenth of a second when they flashed a pic of Quinn at age 4 all dressed up like a browns player. I got over it real quick.

a little bit of me was starting to feel bad, but then they showed that boo sitting next to him and I didn't feel bad for him anymore

And you could just TELL she was getting more irritated as the picks were passing Quinn by! With every passing pick, junior's income was dropping.

Side note: I think the Browns chose wisely.

Is Charlie Weis there throwing a hissy fit a la Terry Hoeppner?

17th pick and Quinn is still sitting there!

I bet the girlfriend breaks up with him if he falls to the second round (which is becoming a real possibility at this point*).

*kidding.

So much for the theory that Green Bay was going to take him so his sister Barbaro could save on jersey costs.

NFLN reporting the browns want to trade their 3rd round pick and first round pick for next year to Dallas...sounds ridiculously stupid to me but they are the browns

Not a good trade. I have a gut feeling that Quinn will be a very average QB with no ability to win in the playoffs.

Was he in the bathroom crying or something?

I'm not even an Browns fan and the way the draft has worked out for them is great! I think there will be many Quinn doubters now that will be singing a different tune in a few years. Personally, I would've rather seen them pick up Peterson over Thomas and then Quinn. But Browns have no QB of the future (Charlie Frye hasn't panned out) and they addressed that need. Excellent first round and the Weis Cranell connection seemed to have worked. Cranel values Charlie's opinion highly, so they all know what they're doing I think.
