I think almost any guy who sees their girl with another guy (ex or not), would have done the same thing that parks did...it's human nature. It's not right, but it happens. Especially when she told him the day before she still loved him. But it was 21st birthday and had a few too many, maybe she forgot what she said.

I don't fight.

In addition, I usually don't respond to poorly worded posts by student/athletes or their friends when they're trying to "publicly" denounce stupid things that they've done.

im with parks on this one, he should of beat his a$$ and then dumped his girl. i have no tolerance for people cheating on each other. my point is if you like the person enough to call them your b/f or g/f then you shouldn't even look at someone else in a sexual manor.

What's that? Some fancy name for a whorehouse?

If you plan to dump the girl anyway why the need to beat somebody up?

What is up with people? It is never OK to attack someone for that reason...

Please tell me you are being facetious.

It's time for some people to grow up.

I would have done the same thing. emotions run high in relationships even if she did just dump him

It is never ok to fight, but we have all been in situations when our emotions get the best of us. That does not justify what he did though, but hes facing the consequences....and please, do we really need to hijack another thread by correcting peoples grammar?

I don't fight people...When you get to be my size (6-5", 280) you have the power to really hurt someone. I really don't want that on my conscience so I just avoid that stuff. Of course, if someone were to involve my wife or child in a bad situation,....

No, I don't fight people. I have been at war with the local raccoon population though. I've trapped and relocated five of them. None of them are repeats because they looked different and I'm taking them to spots accross the freeway and a minimum of five miles from my house. Good luck making that return trip in one piece, pal

Don't get mad, don't get even, just get ahead. If you can't do that, then break out a 12 pack, a bit of Who's Next, Who Are You, Who by Numbers, and enjoy at MAXIMUM volume just in case you miss any of Pete Townsend's riffs or Roger Daltry's vocals.

"Won't get fooled again" springs to mind. Timeless piece.

Didn't hijack and didn't correct-it was just one of the more amusing typos I've seen and I couldn't let that go. Now if I expounded at great length about a racoon relocation project-that might be considered hijacking. :-D

im not agreeing with fighting, but what ever DID happen to just breaking up fights? it bugs me that everything these days involves 2 miles of paperwork and a night in jail. in the old days...not even that old of days...the police would break up the fight, maybe throw someone in the drunk tank and thats that. now there's law suits, charges pressed etc etc even if nobody's hurt. they make fights...which aren't a new phenom. by any means out to be some terrible malicious thing. bar fights are not new folks...in my home-town the irish and germans would go to their side by side bars and at the end of the night beat the hell out of each other. if there was as much "law" involved then as there is now, they'd still be building the canals.

i just think things like drunk & disorderly, public intox, fist fights and what not are overly prosecuted these days
