Those panoramics look pretty good even with the blending issues with on some of them. Are you using Picasa's panoramic blending or Photoshop? If you have Photoshop , you can get great results if you toy with it. Wow, that orange endzone lookes awesome! This field should give the Doyt some much needed flair. You could almost make those images into wallpaper.

There's a lot of problems with those photos from a technical standpoint:

- No tripod/solid ground to take the pictures. They were all taken by hand.
- Mostly cloudy with spots of sun means the brightness is near impossible to get right.

For those who care, I have a Canon SD630 and used the Canon PhotoStitch program.

I see, as a photographer myself, I certainly know the benefits of using a tripod. A tripod is almost a necessity when trying panoramics.

That might be the funniest thing I've heard all day next to you talking about using Photoshop...

I'm not a photographer. I'm a guy who owns a digital camera that he bought to take pictures of him and his drunk-ass buddies.

Hmmmm......I guess for those with a excessively dirty mind it could be. You and TG both.

Thanks for noticing ;)

BTW, I'll be happy to edit any pictures for people and make some backgrounds if you'd like.

I wasn't thinking dirty. I just love how you see to know everything. First with every aspect of sports, then the computer knowledge came out followed by the complete understanding of everything at BGSU and now you're a photographer. Just cracks me up.

Maryellen and I went "Doyting" tonight before hitting DiBenedetto's for dinner. Some of my pics are kind of like Drew's but there's some different views and I got down on the field and took some close-ups... so check them out too! (click the photo to jump to the rest of the gallery)

I know that going to turf wasn't high on everyones list but being a traditionalist myself I have to say that I love the look of the turf and it will end-up being a wise decision.

You know, I keep thinking the same thing. I'm excited for the first home game. To be honest, not so much for the game, but for the environment. The new Sebo, the new turf, all the improvements... it's going to be electric. This field is going to look amazing, and whether it's late August or late November, it's going to look the same!

I was going to try to get some field views, but the workers were still there when I was snapping, not to mention one of BGPD's finest. I really wanted to take a peak into the "Secret Room" under the band stands.
