Why in the hell did they make it face the west? I sit on the east side. Jesus Christ, can't the damn university do anything right? I'm asking for my Falcon Club donation back. Dumb ass bastards.

The logo is facing the same direction it has always faced...the students and home fans will have a wonderful view...switch sides or deal with it.

All your reasons listed are valid, but don't kid yourself, the logo is facing that way because the high 50-yardline televesion cameras are mounted atop the Westside pressbox.

Hopefully it "smokes" the East and then the best of the West in Detroit.

I would love that! I would love to wrong about this season.
But its just not very realistic this year, at all.
Next year, maybe...esp if we feed AT to the Ditch Witch.

A team that plays Wisconsin tough for most of the game, beats OU in Athens and underachieves due in large part to special teams holds pretty good promise for a turn-around season. I don't think they can run the table but they can contend in the division with the talent they have, a vast improvement in special teams and another year under the belts of key players. The frustration of last year is the biggest hurdle in my opinion. The players, and the fans in particular, will be quick to dismiss the potential of this season if things don't go well from the start.
Let's get this team through the September and see what they can do. I'm not ready to concede anything yet.

cute Zeket but I have not done autographs since th elate 70's
In the end this team doomed here is why.
GB worships the spread punt like its some kind god...it is not, it yields more in catastrophic failure than gaines. Should he and by all means I bet he will opt to run all season again...we will give up no less than 7 pts a game to it directly and likey 10-14 indirectly.
He is married to AT...the kid has a terrible progression, and when he does geta pass off its so telegraphed and with out zip the int # will soar! he is uncomfortable int he pocket but to his credit he does carry the ball well and has nice speed...but still lacking in comp to J5 The kid is not a good QB and we should have droped him last season...but GB is some tangled up in commitment to stuff that fails hell put us inthe ground this year instead of doing the right thing and making a change.
the influx of coaches may be good may be bad...I with bad on this but we have nochoice.
As a HC GB is not very good. his play calling has become predictable, and cautious and not very creative. other schools know exactly what is coming..he was a great OC and I think should go back to just those duties..but that ship has sailed.
he is wound up real tight and I think he has reached failure. (oh dont go taunting his record im saying its headed all down hill as a continuation not that he has failed but that he is failing now)
I love Falcon football...but folks with the poor ethical decisions regarding player retention after bad deeds,a nd poorer judgment in game play...were effed.
this year 4 wins
next year a reapeat as long there are no changes. We are the bottom.

And when he finally gives reasons, it all makes a lot more sense. I don't agree that the team will suck this year, but I at least follow his reasoning.

Macman, when you say something is gay, what do you mean by that? Thanks for trying out for the ethics police squad, try again in a couple years.
Also, might as well just type in all caps because you have no clue how to forum post.
I don't think this team loses due to one or two people. The losses we had last year were a result of a lot more than GB and AT. I think this team can be a 6-8 win team this year and at least compete for the MAC east.
As always, we just need to have a healthy september.
Hopefully the refurbished stadium gets the crowd out to games. I know I intend to make it for more than last year.

27 Freshman saw action last year....we had a rash of injuries and a pretty tough sked that included 8 road games. Yes there are things that need corrected....we'll see what progess has been made.
Give the team a chance in 2007 and quit writing them off so quickly...
39....
