That's awesome....especially the elevator shaft mural. It's an exciting time for BG sports.

It will definitely jazz up the place a bit... I think.

And while it might be a bit of relief to not look up at the press box and be reminded that our last MAC title was in 1992, I always liked that list across the front of the press box to remember those teams that excelled on the field.

Boy. The Doyt is going to have a totally different feel this year. I'm happy to hear that they are updating the concession stands along with all of the signage. :)

An OL prospect that visitied BG told Rivals that "Bowling Green is opening a new stadium". I guess he's close enough...

My favorite line...

"...especially recognition for Coach Perry himself."

Could this be that statue we have been longing for???

I think the new sign is on the east grandstand - which would allow the MAC Champs listing to remain on the west grandstand.

I thought the same thing, but isn't the top of the west stands (press box) a two-level structure where the east is just one?

Any recognition for Doyt Perry is welcomed! GC is getting things done...I feel fortunate he's the AD at this time.

I love all these ideas. The Doyt is gonna rock this fall!!! GO FALCONS!!! < 25 days...

I HATE IT! It's not tradition! We traditionally have a drab, high school-esque look in our football facilities. That's how it always has been and that is how it always should be! I hate progress! I hate the Sebo, I hate the field, I hate the new logo, I hat the old logo, I hate the scoreboard, I hate the new helmets, I hate the new uniforms, I hate the new band uniforms, I hate it all with a passion that burns hotter than O.J. will in hell!

Oh! And I hope they don't have a Doyt statue either! We never have had one so I don't think we need one now! His name has traditionally been on the stadium, so in keeping with that tradition, I think we don't need to start a new tradition of having a statue of him too...Traditionally speaking.

Cue MACMAN.

I think they put the peek-a-boo logo right next to the hockey portion of the Sebo Center mural just to see if they could make macman's head explode

The elevator shaft mural looks awesome.

I wish it still had the old logo, but still that is going to look much nicer than plain concrete.

How's that elevator shaft concrete holding up? ;-)

Well the elevator shaft will do just fine, as long as we can keep Toledo Ton, whoops Tom, out of it! ;-)

The new signage is sharp! Very impressed with what the A.D. is doing! Eagerly awaiting the start of the season! Also eagerly awaiting the gathering at the end of the month to check out the new field! :D
