...or else I am going to be mad. Or something. You know.

I've got a bum knee and couldn't make it to the fall kick off event tonight. I have heard from a very reliable source that the event went very, very well, and for that I am ecstatic. If anyone has pictures from tonight, I would really appreciate seeing them. I have been looking forward to this event for months, and it has entirely pissed me off that a combination of mud and Dave Matthews (who I have long hated) have kept me from it. :x

Me too!! Because it stormed Friday night, the Bryan vs. Van Wert game which I broadcast for TV was postponed until tonight. Bryan won, but I still missed the Fall Sports Kickoff. I'm bummed. At least Bryan won!!

A lot of people had cameras there! The athletic webpage will probably post pics....if email them and ask them NICELY! :-D

Falconboy mentioned new uniforms- this is the first I have heard of that and am salivating at the chance to see them ASAP! Also, a pic from the blade showed that the West side pressbox was painted orange. Would love to see what that looks like. Any word on whether our tangerine scoreboard topper has been given a fresh coat???

Pics would be great!!

I just stopped by the field because I was curious to finally see the finished field turf, and everything looks pretty good. The top of the scoreboard, however, is still very faded and still needs replaced/painted. I'm not sure if that can be painted...I was under the impression it was some sort of canvas or mesh type material.

BO- sorry about the injury. Suck it up - the season is soon starting. :wink:

The only picture I took was my hand in the turf as others have done. But I saw the FREAK and the Freaklings there and other suspects with cameras. I got a Falcon Screech and am now officially fired up for football!

It was my first trip through the SEBO and WOW! It is a first class facility. I told FF1 that it was just right for BGSU- AWESOME.

Talked to Corey P and Korey L. Both are ready to go. They are very excited about the SEBO, the Turf, the season. Corey liked the balls that he was being thrown and was looking forward to being healthy and ready to go. Korey L was very busy when I was there corralling Ayden who was kicking field goals. Good leg on the 3 year old.

Spart, we have told you before, you got a good one there. And having met his brother, one there also!

BO,

I have about 10 shots but for some reason I can't get them to download. Mrs. Freak is the expert on that and I hope to get them up soon. The new jerseys are pretty sweet. They are orange and brown on the shoulders and have "Falcons" in the middle where the logo used to be.

Hope to have those pix up soon! It was a blast!

Thanks again, I think he is pretty special too. I have a good feeling that the gophers are going to hate him tho......Go Falcons!
