Can anyone tell me if there is anywhere in BG that will have the game televised? Can't make it to Minnesota and can't find anywhere that has the Big 10 Network yet.
Help please.

This thread has been created for this purpose, if you live near Toledo, Buckeye is putting the BG/Minnesota game on BCSN, it will designate as their BTN overflow channel. Also, anyone with DirecTV will have the games on, they also will have multiple channels when there are multiple games at the same time. I'm sure a sports bar in Ohio will likely have access to this.

To all you folks who may not have access to this game on TV...I should be able to hook you up with a DVD next week...if you don't mind a "sharpie" drawn label in place of professional graphics

I believe Jed's may be showing the game, Downtown almost always broadcasts our games too. I'm not 100% with all of the big ten net crap but those are probably your top two options.

Flipper,

YOU FREAKIN ROCK!!!!! I still need to find out your fave brew cuz you have a couple cases coming for all the games you've taped for me on BCSN. :D
I would love a copy on VHS or DVD and if you don't want the beer, I'm gonna give you money on 9/22.

Sharpie away!! THANKS MAN!!! Now I feel a whole lot better cuz there's a good chance I won't see any of the game. All depends on what bars in the Vermilion, Lorain or Amherst areas might have the game. I am bolting the wedding reception to see the 2nd half...I hope. It will be tough to dial in the game on my radio as well.

GO FALCONS!!! BEAT MINNESOTA! 96 hours...oh, the agony.

Buckeye will be showing the BG game I believe on Channel 69, with the overflow being BCSN (Michigan is on BCSN at noon). This may change, but look for the Falcons to be on either 8 or 69. Also, Toledo plays Purdue on ESPNU at 7 for those of you either going out or need something else to watch.

Don't know you personally, Flipper, but I'd love a copy of the game if at all possible. I'll pay you for it if you'd like, I just have a strong feeling I won't be able to watch, being in Columbus for the weekend at a house with TW cable, as I've heard they won't be carrying it.

Found this on the Big Ten Network's website:

DIRECTV ANNOUNCES OVERFLOW CHANNELS FOR THIS SATURDAY
DIRECTV subscribers to the Choice programming package and above will receive all six football games televised by Big Ten Network this coming Saturday. Channel assignments are as follows:

12:00 p.m. EDT
Appalachian State at Michigan (Ch. 220 - Primary Game)
Youngstown State at Ohio State (Ch. 218 - Overflow Game)
Northeastern at Northwestern (Ch. 219 - Overflow Game)
Florida International at Penn State (Ch. 221 - Overflow Game)

8:00 p.m. EDT
Bowling Green at Minnesota (Ch. 220 - Primary Game)
Indiana State at Indiana (Ch. 218 - Overflow Game)

Looks like I will be able to record the game off channel 220 in Cincinnati area.

I just love the idea the the Indiana game becomes the overflow game behind BG and Minny. Especially in Cincinnati where I was expecting the Indiana game to be the game of choice. Just glad DirectTV is doing the overflow. I will keep checking for the Michigan State game.

Thanks my man. Just sent the main man G a check in today's mail. I do think I'll be able to skate the reception around 9:30...roughly halftime. Hope there's a ton of timeouts in the first half. At worst, I see only 1 1/2 quarters...and the most important part of the game.

TEE IT UP ROLL ALONG

If/when I ever get back to work and money, I'll definitely be sending some along to Grant. I've been wanting to for some time now, I suppose I should just get off my AZZ and do it already.

We're all going to have a boatload of good, clean wholesome fun shoving crow down your throat after BG wins on Saturday night. Mark it down, you football hating, bad-hockey loving son of a gun.
