Chuck gets his walking papers from JAX.
Here's hoping he's made enough noise to find a spot somewhere, we all know he deserves it.
From the AP story:
Leftwich and Sharon probably both feel duped by the Jaguars.
Sharon worked with the first-team offense throughout the summer
and was a starter when training camp began - way ahead of Reggie
Williams. But no one told Sharon that Williams was demoted solely
in hopes of motivating the former first-round pick.
Sharon caught 10 passes for 138 yards in the preseason, but
ended up vying with seventh-round pick John Broussard for the final
receiver spot.

This is exactly why the Jacksonville Jaguars are a mediocre organization. They wouldn't know a quality receiver if it came up and bit them in the ass.

I'm pretty upset by this too. I really had hoped they would keep him. I was looking forward to getting a Sharon jersey.
Oh well. Maybe one of the recievers will start to suck so that they can cut them and bring back Sharon by week 6.
Of course, they would also sign Omar Jacobs to the practice squad to keep him company. That would be a bit of redemption.

He did officialy sign to the PS now according to the jags site

There is not anything more Charles could have done to make the 53. I agree with the earlier post, it shows why they are the Jags.

Yeah, except of maybe magically growing to 6'4 and 220lbs and increasing his 40 to a 4.25
Somebody has to see Sharon's skills and pick him up.
