You gotta love it! Sounds like they caught the Gophers with their kick-blocking team on the field. Wonder if ESPN will have a highlight?

By the way, thanks to the guys who posted the radio feed link. It made my evening.

Go Falcons :drinkers:

WAY TO GO FALCONS!!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Didn't get to see it, but what a great play by play. Nice job Cal and crew. Wish I could've been there to see it all. Forward Falcons

From what I saw on Gamecast, the Falcons scored the TD on the 2nd play of their overtime period, and then called timeout before the PAT. I guess they decided to go for it during the timeout. WHAT A GREAT CALL! Even if we had lost I would have said it was the right call. On the road, against a supposedly superior opponent, you go for the win.

BG lined up for two, and Minnesota called timeout.

Actually BG kept their offense on the field after the OT TD and Minnesota called the timeout. I'm certain after Minnesota scored their OT TD Brandon decided he was going for 2 if we scored a TD.

Thanks from us too! Our local 107.7 feed got so bad, we couldn't hear the game. We got the online feed from 107.7 and were able to hear the game better than the LOCAL radio was broadcasting!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I listened to the end of this in my driveway next to my car, and I'm sure I woke up all the neighbors when we won!

We scored a touchdown on the second play of our overtime drive and immediately (I mean NO hesitation) lined up to go for two. Minni got their panties in a twit and called TO. We came out of the TO lined up for two, Sheehan in shotgun. He took the snap, hesitated, and threw to Barnes in the endzone for the conversion!!!!

I haven't felt this good in a while, folks. :D

They looked so confident in the first half, and at the end of the second half. Freddie Barnes was clutch on that final drive in regulation. Tyler Sheehan is indeed the right man for the starting QB job. Forget what you saw from him last year, he's a MUCH improved player! I'm going to really enjoy this one! Coach Brandon has a HUGE pair for sticking with his decision to go for 2!
