I'm 14 seconds short of a full game...

I've had many conversatins about game dvd's with you folks...however we have a small probllem that's a few days from being fixed. I don't have the last 14 seconds of regulation. No FG...no lateral KO return. I blocked 3.5 hours on the dvr (forgot they changed the clock rules back to normal) and didn't notice the game was long until thre minutes had passed with no dvr running...that's what I get for watching the game in a more comfortable room than my video set up. Anyway..the Big 10 network is running the game again on Thursday..it's a dcondensed version, but I bet I'll be able to get those last 14 seconds. For those of you over 40...this reminds me of those damn Watergate tapes. At least I'll get those 14 seconds though
As an added complication...I have two ILO Dvd recorders...neither works. I had to run the dvr into my laptop via the TV card (hey...maybe it has a firewire connection and I can bypass MediaCenter..) and save the vid using Windows Media Center. 3.5 hours on high quality is an 11GB file...luckily I have a ipod converter that shrank it down to about 3 gigs...now I just have to splice in the OT and that elusive 14 seconds and I'll have an MP4 that should fit on a dvd and should play on most commercially available dvd players. I could just upload the damn thing to an ftp site and let peopke download it too...it's basically going to be a big ass QT file
So...If you wnt the whole game...talk to me Friday.
I probably should record the MSU game on the laptop via Media Center...but I just don't trust it. The "good" ILO is going to the shop...I guess Best Buy today for repairs. They both are doing the same thing (door won't open) so I'm going to crack open the other myself to see if I can figure it out on my own.
Someday...I'm going to build a big media center box that will act as a server and a couple of smaller rigs that I can place in the bedroom and den and maybe the garage with my weights. Slap a terabite drive in the main boax and I can run a wireless netork that will allow me to eventually dump evry bit of content I own into the network. Home videos..commercial dvd's..scanned photos...recorded TV shows..all of it availabel in just about any room with monitor...how cool will that be.
Probably going to need a new roof and maybe furnace before I do that though

I am un-interested in this thread and find it to be foolish.
I prefer to look at what is happening next week and beyond in falcon football not what has happened in weeks past.

Once again yiu have failed to corretly annalyze the topic at hand. This conversation has little to do with this or any other week's game per se. Instead, it is part of an ongoing discussion about my providing copies of a game...as such, this conversation is relevant...of interest to many and most importantly... beyond the grasp of someone who has the emotional maturity of pre schooler.
Man up and quit being such a little girl about everyhting

I just want to make it clear what happened. You came into a post that I made and called it dumb. That is what started this discourse. If anyone is being a little girl it is you. You had no reason to go in there, as I had no reason to come in here.

Wrong again...I'm a moderator, I have a responsibility to look at threads , even dumb ones. Once I'm there, I have as much right to voice an opinion as anyone else. You joined this discussion simply because you wanted space to throw a temper tantrum...a hissy fit...a pity party... I chose to respond by pointing out that you have a tendency to act like a little girl when someone criticizises your point of view.
So ya see...you really AREN'T as smart as think you are...

Flip,
I got to see the 2nd half and OT...I missed the 1st half. If you're missing those 14 seconds, eh. I want to see all the plays from the 1st half cuz 21- was pretty cool.
Whatever you can do is cool with me and thanks again, bro.

Flipper- I thank you for posting on this per the conversations from the in-game chat and subsequent private messages.
