Any word on CP?

Maybe this has been answered, but I was wondering if there has been word on CP's status for the game this Saturday. I was impressed with our recievers last Saturday, but I think we need #1 for the our next one.

Hopefully, whatever his injury was wasn't serious.

Go Falcons!

GB said Monday in his comments that Corey would give it a go tomorrow and Wednesday and see how he feels. Obviously if Corey feels well enough, he'll be playing on Saturday.

I hope we learned something from rushing PJ back too soon from his ankle problems after the WI game a few years back.

Its a bad sprain, but like the coach said, he will give it a go and see if he can run on it this week.

But you know, if he misses this weekend that gives him almost 3 weeks of healing before we start our MAC schedule. That could be the difference in an injury that nags him all year or one that is said and done by the Temple game.

I would love to see him play agains MSU, but I also want him healthy so we can win the MAC. This could be a very good year for us and I don't want the injury bug to hit again.

I agree. The MSU game is nice, but we gotta be healthy for the games in the East division.

+1. That bye week after MSU doesn't look so bad now.

Either way, CP is currently 2nd in the NCAA in terms of QB ratings with a 631.6!

Boy, that's not the way I remember it. Didn't they play him in virtually every game that season and he ended up leaving most of them still limping?

I really hope he doesn't play at all, so that he can get maximum rest for the important part of the schedule! I think Barnes played too early w/ an ankle problem last year & it nagged him the rest of the year. Also if CP sits out, it would give all our other WR's who aren't as proven a chance to move up 1 on the depth chart & show what they can do in a hostile environment!
