Funny story my dad passed along to me today while listening to Detroit sports talk. I guess while Dantonio was coaching down in Cincy, Tyler was a die hard Bearcats fan growing up in Cincy and wanted to play badly for them. Dantonio passed him up, figuring that he wasn't right for their system at the time, so Tyler obviously chose to come to BG. I wonder if this will serve as any motivation to Tyler.

Also, almost sounds like the Josh Harris situation with tOSU.

He comes to BG and gets to throw the ball 50 times a game rather than reaching over and handing it off to a running back 50 times a game.

I saw an article that said UC had a lot of QBs already in the program which is why Dantonio did not recruit Sheehan, although he said he really liked him as a player. I am sure that is the politically correct thing to say at this point, whether true or not.

That is true about UC's QB situation when Tyler was in high school, but as someone who is a UC fan (after BG) I would take the Tyler I saw Saturday over all the other UC QB's

As for connections, this person from Cincy likes the Partridge to Sheehan connection much better
