This game will be interesting to see as it could well be a good gauge for us vs them.
anyone have any predictions for this one?

I'm really not sure. I think Miami has a better run defense than we do (or at least that is what I have read). Still, I don't think their passing game is as good as ours was last week, and they were, at least against Ball State, pretty run heavy. Minnesota did a pretty good job of keeping our run game in check, and I think we do have some pretty good running backs.
Still, anything can happen. I'll certainly be pulling for Miami, though!

Normally I would root for Miami as well. But I would love to see Minnesota destroy the Redhawks like 73-10. That would give a win a lot more credibility.

Miami certainly won't have the sneak up factor available since you all squashed that.
The passing game was pathetic last week, but it should get better, and from what I saw of Minnesota's passing game, I'd hope we could force them to the air and stuff the run.
It won't be easy for Miami and I wasn't looking at this as a game we could possibly win until you all threw all over the place and dominated the first half.

No way does Miami even gets close in this game. Minn is pissed and will crush the redskinhawks...Mark my words!

Miami struggled in putting up 14 points against a not good MAC defense, unless Ball State suddenly got really good on D in one season, and I don't think that's the case based off of their team talent. Miami's defense isn't good enough to hold Minnesota to fewer points than their offense can put up, so I'll give this one to Minny.

If Minny goes undefeated the rest of the season, we look REAL good, go Gophers!
Furthermore, rooting for miami is right up there with rooting for Toiletto.

If Minnesota beats the Redhawks but tanks the Big Ten it will not make our win look better. I have to root for any MAC school against the Big Ten.

Completely disagree. You support your conference breathern first. The better the conference looks, the more opportunities that are going to present themselves. Individual teams do not bring in new bowl opportunities.

What about at the end of the season when we are fighting one of our "breathern" for a possible bowl bid? A loss here or there comes up big in late-November when bids are handed out.

Then I would tell you that if your actions during the year didn't get you into a bowl (division title) you probably didn't deserve that bid in the MAC. You shouldn't have to rely on other teams for your post-season.

From ESPN.com's "Page 2": Time for the new rules for college football fandom
8. If a team from your conference makes the BCS title game and is a sworn rival, you cannot root for that team. Not now. Not ever. Not even if under duress, gunpoint or waterboarding in an Eastern European black site CIA detention center.
8a. Michigan fans should not have been rooting for Ohio State in the national title game. That's just wrong. And, frankly, a little sick.
So, I count Toledo and Miami as our sworn rivals. A fan of BG can NEVER root for either of these schools.

I've mentioned it here before and I'm sure it will get mentioned again in the future, I will NEVER root for the Yankees, Steelers, Redhawks, or Rockets in anything for any reason.
