Channel 11 has a live shot from the BGSU Cam several times every morning on the news.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

The biggest reason why the band/dance team/cheerleaders were in the Doyt this afternoon was because the Athletic department is trying different things to get the crowds more involved. So for those of you that will be attending any home games this year, just listen for the Falcon Marching Band because it may be a "cheer" or something to get you fans more into the game. By the way, the SEBO Center is freakin' awesome with the reverb from the band...you fans will definately experience a new sensation come 12:00 Saturday afternoon.vwfalcon wrote:Money,
yes the team was practing on camera, however the team that was practicing wasn't the football team, it was the cheerleading and dance teams as well as the band. We were doing our game staging walk through. Sorry to dissapoint...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong (because I know you'll do it regardless), but didn't BG used to use Orange smoke before, I believe in the Blackney era?jmillerbg wrote:I heard today that the team may being arrivng on the field through some smoke this year. I am not sure how I feel about that (been done before, in my opinion), but I am interested to see all the changes FINALLY this Saturday.

I don't remember any orange smoke but I did not make it to every game especially 94-96. I did make it to most of the football games in 91 and 92. Ahh, still my favorite memory was tearing down the south goal post and carrying a piece of it down E. Wooster after our Las Vegas Bowl victory. It may still be in Quarters if it's still around. What a great game that was. Thank God my ride got delayed so I got to watch it in BG with a limited amount of students still on campus.
