Temple gets screwed big time on the road!

With 40 seconds left Temple throws up a desperation pass which is tipped and then caught for a TD, but ruled out of bounds. Replays clearly show the Temple receiver in bounds, but the officials not wanting to upset the home crowd cheat Temple and the MAC out of a win. Absolutely terrible call!!!!

I saw that last drive since ESPN2 switched over. Just a terrible, terrible call, I saw right away that it was a catch and his left foot was in, the incomplete call baffled me and not overturning it just blew my mind away.
Who was it that ended up with that "non"-catch for Temple.. #82 or #84?

anyway that really ticks me off, they were totally screwed

Wow! Just saw it too. You gotta feel bad for those kids. I'll say one thing, we had better be ready for Temple next week. I don't care what Buffalo did to Temple last week, those kids were ready to play today. The Owls have lost 26 of their last 27 games and we know who that lone win was against.

That call left me with such a bad taste in my mouth, I had to come post right away. I guess to a Temple fan, when it rains it pours. Congrats to the Owls on their first "win" of the season! We need some MAC wins!! Come on OU.

Terrible. They have got to be furious with that call. Well, they are certainly due for a win and as good MAC fans I know we'll all be pulling for them to get that first MAC victory next week. Who do they play?

Temple will come in confident. I watched them play Navy and they were competitive. Yesterday, they got hose. Buffalo rocked them but that was one game.
BG will be ready...if last year doesn't hammer home the point to bring the A game. We need to take control early and take them out of the game.
