Where is the title game this year?

OK, where is the MAC title game this year? I thought the east division winner was going to host the game? The last I had read, which was some time ago, the title game wasn't moving to Ford Field until 2005. I ask since I've read on two sites, including Vandelay's, that the title game is in Detroit THIS year.

Ford Field is a for sure this year! The way I see it, we will play there one way or another. Either for the MACC or against OSU at the MCB!

I read somewhere that Ford Field will have the next three MAC Title Games (2004-2006). Don't hold your breath on seeing OSU at the MCB, though. If they win another game and are bowl eligible at all, the Alamo Bowl and the Sun Bowl have both said they want Ohio State at their bowls. Them being bowl-eligible is still a big if, though, as far as I can see. They could easily lose their last three games and finish 5-6.

I believe Ed is correct in that it is a three year contract beginning this year.
Also, I thought of another reason why this is a good thing. I would imagine that the FF people could market the MACC and MCB as a discounted package deal and increase paid attendance at both games!!

Tron man?
I thought that was from the Blue Man Group hockey team.

I'm more than happy that the contract starts this year. I was happier when it was looking as though Marshall might make the title game again. However that looks like it won't happen now.
It is near enough I might go up to see it, even if we aren't in the game. I have to have my football fix somehow.
