What a great win tonight by the zips. All we got to do is beat the terds... no problem I think. So now if Akron can beat OU, Marshall has no chance of being the east champs because the east title will come down to Akron vs. Miami. The last thing I want to see is Marshall representing the MAC. BG can make sure that does not happen.

you are correct as long as bg defeats marshall on the 13th and miami beats western. then, the mac east title game is set for the 20th in akron.

with how well we are clicking on offense, I don't think the Marshall game will be that close. I bet we are only favored by 10 points or so on the line but I bet we win by 3 TD's.

Me and FalconFreak went to the Akron vs Marshall game (we both live about 5 miles from the Rubber Bowl). Marshall now looks like a middle MAC team and I would predict that BG will win by at least 3 TD's
OK I must admit I left the game at the beginning of the 4th quarter with Marshall winning by 14 points........ but damn it was cold Friday night!!

I watched bits of that game, including the final 3 minutes, and absolutely couldn't believe it. Amazing comeback for the Zips. BTW, I want to see one person's pre-season prediction saying the MAC east would come down to Akron and Miami. How crazy is that?
