The Partridge family is cool!
Yesterday I found out that my season tickets are right in front of the Partridge family. They are awesome people. They have a lot of positive energy, and are really fun to be around. I saw them dancing when the band played, talking with people about how Corey is feeling after his injury, and really supporting the team.
This is going to be a fun season with them there. I hope they keep those seats next year.
On a side note, Corey's passer rating is currently 631.6 this year. Let's keep our fingers crossed for some more trick plays as the season continues.

speaking of booing osu jersey's, i did that myself a couple times. then almost got in a fight at junction with this guy who questioned me when i booooood when they put hang on slupy at junction and i got the typical, "who do you like michigan(no), notre dame(no), then who?" and i was like bg and florida state, and then he was like, oh ya florida state is real good(sarcastic), and i was like , "ya they only finished in the top 4 for 14 years strait or something like that" and then i just ended the conversation when he said the big 10 is the hardest conference in football
We have the EYE-VUH-NELLY (Iovinelli) family sitting close to us. (Sorry to hijack the thread) Looks like Nick's Grandparents attend with his parents.
His grandfather is IN TO THESE GAMES. His energy is infectious. Great to see.
Those punts are nice to see as well, one of them on Saturday night looked like the perfect spiral on a hail mary from a QB, no idea the yardage but it was a beautiful sight.

Weird. I was at Junction last night as well. When they started playing that crap, I left. On my way out, the bouncer commented on the number of people who chose to leave at that moment and saying that he thought is was becuase of the music. I took a brief moment to agree, and kept going.moneymaker02 wrote:speaking of booing osu jersey's, i did that myself a couple times. then almost got in a fight at junction with this guy who questioned me when i booooood when they put hang on slupy at junction and i got the typical, "who do you like michigan(no), notre dame(no), then who?" and i was like bg and florida state, and then he was like, oh ya florida state is real good(sarcastic), and i was like , "ya they only finished in the top 4 for 14 years strait or something like that" and then i just ended the conversation when he said the big 10 is the hardest conference in football
I do not like Michigan, but I want them to win the Big 10 this year. That way, we can rub it in the Big 10 knuckleheads' faces that their conference was won by a team that lost to a double A school the same year. I still think that might be a record.

That is awesome to hear! Love it. I didn't see many OSU shirts at the game so I only had to tell a few clueless folks they had the wrong colors on. Most of the responses? "Huh?" They really are blind sheep. BAAAAAmmisbg wrote:Weird. I was at Junction last night as well. When they started playing that crap, I left. And kudos to Iovinelli...the kid is a heck of a punter.

The guy (I believe the owner) who was delivering the pizzas to our lockerroom after the game had the OSU game BLARRING in his car, and as I walked by I told the security guy standing there that he needs to turn that $hit off oround here. The security guy said, "I agree." The same pizza store has been mentioned on here as rooting for OSU on his sign!

Thanks, we enjoy our football, especially with Corey down on the field. My brother Randy is the real rowdy and talkative one. We had a great time. Of course winning always helps but win or lose we will support the team. They are a great group of guys.mmisbg wrote:Yesterday I found out that my season tickets are right in front of the Partridge family. They are awesome people. We really enjoy all of those we have had an opportunity to tailgate with. They are the best people in the world and great falcon fans, thanks for putting up with us. It was awesome having our own tailgating alley going between the campers with the big archway. What a great day for Falcon Football.

Way to be, FM. I sense something is starting to happen around the BG Campus and town...thanks in part to Lizzie's article. I sense a lot of "new" pride about BG in the students and fans...this is OUR team, not the one 2 hours away. Maybe the team should find a new pizza joint to deliver after game grub...one that is loyal to the BGSU FALCONS....ONLY.factman wrote:The guy (I believe the owner) who was delivering the pizzas to our lockerroom after the game had the OSU game BLARRING in his car, and as I walked by I told the security guy standing there that he needs to turn that $hit off oround here. That's probably because he and his mafia buddies have a ton of money going on these games and they are hoping to not have to kill any bookies after the game. Totally kidding...Iovinelli just totally sounds Mafia-esqueAZZZZ wrote:We have the EYE-VUH-NELLY (Iovinelli) family sitting close to us. You are a funny guy.
When I first saw the title of this thread, I had two thoughts. First...

And second... to echo the thoughts of everyone on here that Corey's family is totally awesome!

After the band's concert outside the stadium, Mr. Iovinelli came right up My gf and I and told us he felt bad for us having to wear the uniforms with how hot it was. He felt we need summer uniforms. We told him it was our pleasure to sweat our AZZes off for everyone's enjoyment.
He was pretty cool. Hope his family, particularly his son, really likes it here.
