according to USA Today and Sheridan odds.
I'd take BG and the points this week.

No doubt. Did they actually see the result of their game with UMass?

Vegas has BG a 20-21.5 underdog.

I'm guessing you think UMass is an awful D2 team.
LOL.
Okay.

Actually they are D-IAA, not D-2. And the fact that BC could only beat them by 10 or whatever it was is pretty bad.
If the line stays as big as it is now...bet it all on BG.

Okay.
No. They're a 1-AA team with 20 fewer scholarships who y'all beat by 10.
We're an 85 scholarship IA team, so 20 points for us seems a bit much.

Sorry, I use D2 / D1AA interchangably, which I suppose I shouldn't.
I'm not trying to flame or anything here...just think it's funny that people are taking UMass as an awful team that BC should have taken behind the woodshed if they were any good.
It's cool. I'm not going to argue that point on your board.

UMass is a VERY good team...they lost to Appy State in the 1-AA Championship game last year. The same Appy State that took down Meeeeeeeeeeechigan.
A lot of teams in the FBS (1-A) would have a tough time with the Minutemen.

No, UMass is a good non big time program. But a #7 rated team in the nation should be able to win by more than 10 against them.

Would 17 have been better?
They ran out the clock kneeling the ball in the UMass redzone.
I"ll admit, I was hoping for another score

You'd run up the score on a sister institution with a fraction of the resources available for football that BC has?
Shame on you...
I think 21 points is pretty fat given BC's difficulty generating a pass rush or defending the deep ball. We couldn't get the deep routes going against MSU because they were able to get heat on our QB. If young Mr Sheehan has that extra second or so to see what develops downfield, we're gonna score some points.
heck...we might even complete some of those 15-20 yard outs on 3rd and 1 ...

its simple the way I see it this year
BC is way way over rated and BG is way underrated I was even guilty of underrating the falcons this year.
BC did not take care of biz this last weekend, and quite honestly it did not look like you were able to even when you were trying your best. the knee was classy and nice showing of respect to a team that gave you fits and cudos for the win, but it is not #7 worthy. 15-25 maybe is where BC lives, and likely after this weekend that is where you fall to.

If BG beats BC (you guys have to stop this BG vs BG, BG vs BC stuff-its confusing) in Boston, BC will fall a lot lower than 15-25 after the close calls w/ UM and Army. Plus BG will get some Top 25 votes. I don't see it happening but no way does a win at BC not translate into BG getting a higher ranking. MAC teams don't win big road games like that without getting a significant bump (see 2003).

I don't think we're underrated. I think we're largely unproven. The only quality opponent we have faced thus far this season we lost to.

I couldn't agree more. So far we've beaten the teams we're supposed to beat. I would have loved to have beaten MSU, but was only hoping to have a good showing. Which we did. Can we beat Boston College? Yes. Is it probable? No. All I want to do this year is win the MAC and a Bowl Game. Winning at BC doesn't help us accomplish that. Winning at Miami and Kent does.
Why is this game "off" on the Yahoo Pick 'em league?
