Most Disappointing Team(s):
1. Toledo – The Rockets were expected to be in the middle of the MAC West pack but no one predicted the team to be THIS bad and possibly being the worst team in the MAC this season.
that made me smile.

But Nick needs to remember PJ Mahone plays for BG, not EMU.

I'm sure it was an honest mistake cuz Nick does a very good job covering the MAC. He has PJ listed incorrectly under INT leaders.
Here's what I've been saying for a month and Nick said it as well...
"MAC East: Bowling Green and Kent State look to be the class of the MAC East thus far and even though the Golden Flashes slipped at Akron, the KSU/BG showdown may very well be for the divisional title".
That Kent road game is H U G E....of course this assumes we beat Miami on the road as well.
GO FALCONS!!! BEAT BC!!

Right, Freak, that definitely could be the difference making game in the East.
The Plain Dealer reported that Kent only drew 8,455 fans for their home opener with the majority of those being students. I've heard we've had big BG contingents at Dix before...do we have a legitimate chance to have more non-student fans at their own stadium? The alumni "get out the fans" apparatus should really crank it up for this one. That would be pretty inspiring for our guys and pretty deflating for them.

Joe,
I read that in the Akron Beacon Journal as well. There weren't more than 9K for that opener. I think its possible for us to have well over 3K for the Kent game...we usually bring a very good crowd.
The more orange, the better!

Recalling the last time I went to a KSU v. BiG football game, the likes of Jack Lambert & Gerald Tinker graced the gridiron for the flashes and if memory serves correctly - the Falcons left with a victory!! Let's hope history repeats itself.
