There are quite a few reasons, but one in particular regards the scheduling of BG vs. BC. Almost every year BG plays a BCS team the game is almost always in the first week or two of the season. When there are two BCS teams in a season, many times they are back to back like the Minnesota and Michigan State games this season.
However, this year BG has had experience against two BCS teams on the road. The good part, BG has since had a week off and competition that allowed us to rest starters in the fourth quarter and get healthy. I think this is BiG!

So I posted on another thread about how lightly the media is taking us and the fact that the team is just saying the standard stuff about a non-BCS game.
Here's my third factor. My bet is the guys for BC were up late watching the Red Sox game, more into it than our guys who may have watched. I'm changing my prediction - slightly:
BG 41
BC 24
