Congrats to BC

I haven't seen anyone else say it around here, so I will. BC played a damned near flawless game today. If we had done the same (which we obviously didn't come close to doing), I'm still not sure that we would have been able to hang in there. BC impressed me today, all around. I don't know if it was just our poor play today or what, but the weaknesses that you BC fans talked about certainly look to have been addressed.

Congrats, and good luck the rest of the way!

Thanks for starting this thread.

To all you BC lurkers: Congratulations. We underestimated you, and we definitely didn't challenge today.

Good luck in the ACC.

I agree. Congratulations BC. Your team played a great, nearly flawless game. I for one thought we had a chance. I was wrruunghh.

We did have a chance. We didn't execute.

Yup. BC was better than I thought, though, at least on O. They weren't very impressive on D. Our 2004 offense could have hung 50 on 'em. Sheehan just had a very bad day.

We did have a chance if we were flawless and BC was flawed.

If BC played flawless, like today, we didn't have a chance.

But I'm with you.

Bowling Green may not have won on the field. But I have been very impressed by the team, its coaches, and fans as some of the finest people. The East coast doesn't know much about Bowling Green. After listening to all of you, I am not alone in saying I would like to know more. Best of luck the rest of the season!

460 total yards of offense...not bad. Just too many turnovers. 460 not bad...I know Georgia Tech only had 267 total yards and got beat 24-10 by them at home.

Thank you. It's always good to hear when our fans carry themselves well on the road.

What do you want to know more about? We've got more than a few here that would be happy to share. Can we have Jerry York back? :-D

Good luck to you guys, too. And tell that damn #44 to get a haircut! (But don't go to the same barber as the guy with the mohawk and little stars. )

One of the best things I have read from an opposing fan on here in awhile. Congrats on your win today and good luck the rest of the season. I was defn impressed with your team & QB. I really hope you guys get a shot at the national title and the Heisman. In the future I hope you consider flipping on Bowling Green football on the tube when your Eagles aren't playing at that time!

Congrats to BC...I was in a BC bar here in DC and was very impressed that even though I had an Indians jersey and a BGSU hat on, everyone was very pleasant to me. It was funny that everyone at the bar thought this was a "small school" (BG) playing a "big school" (BC) when in actuality, BG is almost twice the size of BC!

So again congrats to BC. Turnovers and penalties are not going to win you games against an opponent, let alone a top 10 opponent...

We still have many flaws, but we lucked out yesterday. You QB kept throwing to the wrong team. Take that away and it would have been a close game.

We still have to find a decent running back and a secondary. But, a win is a win.

Good luck the rest of the way!

P.S. Don't listen to the posters on Scout, All of them have been banned from the main BC board. No surprise, I guess.

Maybe our D is just that bad, but it seemed like every time you a guys took it to the ground you got a first down. It didn't matter if you needed 2, 6, or 10. Your running back would not go down until he reached that marker yeasterday.

I hope BC runs the table and plays for the BCS title. Congrats on kicking our butts. You have a very solid team.
