Scoreboard Improvements

It seemed to run a lot better this afternoon. It looks like they did some work to create a new opening for the team's entrance. It's a bunch of highlights from different games, then a countdown from 5 to the team running in to the stadium.

The SkyBank out of town scores were improved as well -- much easier to read.

I remember seeing a few new packaged graphic bits ("MAKE NOISE!") that they threw up there as well. And what looked like a Flash-animated falcon logo squashing Marshall's logo for next week's game.

I'm not sure if this is new, but it looks like they have videotaped pictures of each of the starters that they put up there when the guys make a big play. Kind of a nice touch.

Could have cranked up the volume a bit though. And I only heard the screech once.

Yes, as one who complained early, it has improved.

Please don't turn it up any louder. Anyone who was sitting in the south east corner will tell you, that thing almost busted our ear drums. How about we just put some speakers up in the north end of the stadium instead?

BUT...the announcer...

Regardless of scoreboard improvements, we still are experiencing a pathetically annoying announcer. Maybe that will be next weeks "room for improvement"

I'm still up for our hockey announcer, Brady Gaskins, to take over football as well! The guys now is pathetic and everyone knows it. Lets get someone in there who knows what he's doing!

I'm waiting for the first time the band pulls a stunt using the score board. Like having somebody conduct the band from the scoreboard.

It might be nice to have the Alma Mater lyrics scrolled during the playing of it.

Its nice to see the toys getting used better. Its easier to see from a head-on angle I've noticed.
