I can see many of you are down right now, but don't be. I know that was a tough loss to take, but you guys really did put up some big numbers on offense.

Our D stepped up big with scoring plays and Jeff Smith finally put on the pads for the first time this year (kick returner). He's the real deal.

All in all, as long as you guys keep the confidence up, I think you stand a very good chance of winning the MAC this year and going to a bowl. You don't have a bad team, you just had a bad game.

To those that went up to Boston, I hope y'all had a great time, and were treated well.

A bad combination for us - a really good kick returner against our bad kick coverage team. I think the first return was the biggest play of the game. We had just scored to get within one score and the big return made for an easy drive for the BC O. Then the interceptions started. We still had a fighting chance up until that return.

Good luck the rest of the season. The Eagles should be in the top 5 and you are easily my pick as who I would like to see win. Thanks for stopping by this week!

Classy post. I agree. We still have a solid team but had a poor day...and BC had a LOT to do with that. We discussed before the game that turnovers could be a key...and they certainly were, unfortunately. Love that kid Silva...and his hair. He rocks. 24 points given up in 4 min really put us in a hole we would never be able to overcome.

Thanks for hanging here and I really do hope you cats roll to a 12-0 season...maybe we can say we hung 465 yards on the national champs.
