Tailgating spot for Miami...

The last time I went to Yager, we parked over in a BiG lot down the sidewalk from Millet...I think we were backed up to the edge of woods. To get to the stadium, you have to walk down the sidewalk by the practice field and turn right, IIRC. We are looking to set up by 11:30.

That's the lot I will be trying to find again. If anyone has a better place for BG fans to hook up, let us know. We need to form an ORANGE army to invade the Redhawk's nest!

I don't have a campus map but I know someone posted one here recently.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance and GO FALCONS! BEAT MU!

I believe that was the lot we tailgated in 2 years ago. I was planning on parking there this weekend as well.

as i posted in the who's going thread, the west millet lot is what you all are talking about, and that is where most, if not all tailgating goes on.

it is very very kid friendly. This is new, called tailgate town like you said. it is located just north of the stadium, so you can see how much time is left until the game starts! There is food, live music, a large video board, and inflatable interactive games for all kids.

Nice! How long a drive do you have, PGY? We are looking at a solid 4 hour drive...one end of Ohio to the other. :-D

We'll have the Silver Ford Freakstyle with the BGSU flag. We'll have the grill and a table...the freaklings and I are gonna play paper football as well as toss the real thing around.

It sux it's only Tuesday. LOL!

This is a nice drive for me. 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic through Cincy and out of Lexington. No kids for me this trip (sans wife as well), so I think I will my party tent and cornhole boards.

No doubt about it this is a better drive than to BG which takes me about 4.5ish hours, or to Canton (6 hours on good day, but if I leave at a bad time closer to 7 or 8 hours, especially in winter).

Cool. If the Freaklings get bored, Mrs. Freak can take them over there for a while and leave the Freak in peace. LOL!

This should be a great trip...only better with a "W".
