As of Thursday morning, BG still has about 200 tickets remaining to sell also.

Call the ticket office or go online, Sry I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I saw in another thread that BG receives credit for selling their tickets. Someone help me out here on the benefits BG gets for selling thier tickets.

I don't believe the university gets any kickback for selling their tickets to the road games.

The advantages are:

A) You get to sit in the BG cheering section with all BG people

B) It looks better to bowl committees if they see that we typically sell our allotment of road game tickets, thus we travel well.

In reality, I don't think it really matters. The top 3 teams in the MAC will get to go to one of our bowl slots, but I don't think any higher bowls will be going out of their way for a MAC school no matter how many tickets we sell to the Miami road game...

Ordering Tix

Post by Class of 61 »

FWIW, I ordered our four tix thru BG's ticket office for the reasons that Hambb mentioned...I'd prefer to KNOW that I'll be sitting with other Falcon fans...also, they told me that IF I didn't get the tix in the mail by tomorrow (Friday) to call them and they'll arrange to have MU's ticket office have replacement tix available at Oxford....so, I think it's not a problem for the fans who want to sit with other BG folks.

My tickets came today.... Section 2, Row 12, seats 12 thru 15.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

If you order tickets thru BG you can pick them up at will call at the game on Saturday. Not Miami's will call but BGs. I believe its the same will call that we pick up comp tickets from. So no worries about getting them in the mail, just say you will pick them up at Will Call at the game.

Yep...I ordered mine today over the phone from the BG ticket office and they told me to pick them up at the player's comp booth.
