Temple doesn't count?

I have seen this in far too many different places for it to be a mere coincidence. Again, on the ESPNU halftime show for the Ohio-EMU game, we were listed as 0-0 in the division and in last place in the East standings. Temple was listed at 1-2 in second-to-last place. If this were simply a mistake I wouldn't expect to see it from so many different sources, so what gives? As you can see at
www.mac-sports.com we are listed at 1-0 in the division and conference, so I guess I am a bit confused.
Because of the unbalanced conference schedules, does one of our East games not count toward the division standings, possibly?

Stop caring so much about the ESPN networks that post the wrong material about us "non BCS" teams. Temple does count and it counts a lot because its an EAST game. We are 3-2, 1-0 in the MAC, and 1-0 in the MAC EAST which is the most important record for who will win the division.

Well, it isn't that I care about what ESPN has to say, its just that I've seen this from the PD, Blade, USA Today, etc., too. I guess the notion that it is an intentional mistake from all of these sources has me questioning this a bit. It really isn't that big of a deal to me either way. I'm just curious, I suppose. It's why my friends call me Whiskers.

I've found that a lot of the media outlets appear to copy each other. I'll read articles or standings from one source, then see the exact same article verbatim at a completely different outlet. My guess is that they've all copied the incorrect source. When you see the standings, do they have our overall record correct? But, again, who gives a crap. We know our record and all that matters is moving to 2-0 in MAC East play. Beat Miami!!

Temple wins again today...last week N. Illinois and this week Akron. People still making fun of them and still think we should have beat them by 30? Come on...
