I want to write more about this weekend later - right now, I must admit to being blurry-eyed and in need of a hot shower, but wanted to post here as soon as could.

What a great weekend. Geez, great sounds so flat, but it will have to do for now.

It was such a treat to see Freak, Fanatic, 62hartmom, hammb, rc_ziggy, 61 and all the other AZZers Saturday. Short of winning the 50-50 (Freak & I were both out after the second digit) and a few minor details, it really couldn't have been much better.

Noah was on Cloud 9 right through today. Great moment at Toledo Express this morning ...

Gate agent: So your a Bowling Green fan? (Not that the temporary Falcon tattoo on his cheek or the orange BGSU hat or the MCB Champions shirt were a giveaway)

Noah: Yes I am. They crushed Western Michigan yesterday.

Agent: Did they? I didn't know that. I'm a Toledo fan.

Noah: That's too bad.

With that, he walked away.

better be careful, though, after your two games this year, Noah's gonna start expecting 50 point wins EVERY time!!

Very cool hanging with you at the Doyt!! Who knows? As competitive as our boys are, they just might be fighting for playing time and starting positions in 10 years.

Glad to hear you're back safely and I'll save a brat for your next visit. Assuming the grill stays lit...right BGFan? LOL!

It was a true pleasure to meet you and your awesome son!! What a great kid!!!! We had a blast hanging with you and Noah. Just too bad you live so far away and can't get to more games!!

Great time seeing you again...my offer on the temporary housing in Sagamore Hills is always open...think about it for whatever game you and Noah come to next year.... And I wish I'd been there to see that "airport exchange"... It'd been worth driving 2 hrs to see!
