This was an interesting read...

From the Sentinel Tribune...

Coach Brandon is quoted as saying he likes defensive end Ernie Hodge for Ohio and what he's done. Um, Hodge is suspended for the season and hasn't played a down.

The paper also talks about our "2 qb system." We don't have a 2 qb system. Bower isn't in for passing plays and Theo in for running plays. Obviously, Bower is in for interception plays though.

I just thought that was interesting. Hopefully you're coach is doing a little more film study than pointing out players who were removed from school for the semester and obviously not playing. Anyway, good luck this weekend...hopefully both teams come out w/o any major injuries.

Maybe that's what he likes about him? :-D

It's not exactly quoted. Who knows if the writer mis-heard what Brandon said, or re-used what Brandon might have told him before the season even started.

It looks more like shoddy writing and a lack of research on the writer's part than it does Brandon not knowing Hodge is suspended.

Brandon said Ohio’s line and linebackers are the key for the Bobcats. He likes Ernie Hodge and Kris Luchsinger at defensive ends and Landon Cohen at defensive tackle.

The above is what the article stated. It was not an exact quote of Brandon. The writer mentioned the 2 QB system. I wonder if Brandon was even asked about the defense and QB's or if the Tribune did a Chris Mortenson and threw something against the wall?

I am sure Brandon knows what is up with OU. Some other posters may disagree with me.

I'm sure he is too...it's not exactly like we've never played each other and this is a new thing. I just found it humorous that Hodge was brought up since currently he is not even a student at Ohio. I agree with the poster who surmised this is nothing more than shoddy journalism. They obviously didn't go to OU as a journalism major;)

Promotion of the journalism department on rival boards - Is this the new low-budget OU advertising campaign?

Finally a senior!

More of an attempt at humor....as I was an engineering major and certainly not a journalist. Good luck this weekend.
