Ugh...a loss but still some bright spots...yes, the Freak has his optimism back on Monday. Sure sucked yesterday, though.
1) John Haneline. JH is turning into a great LB like his brother Chris. He plays with passion every down. He had an int Sat night and was credited with 14 tackles, which gives him 91 tackles on the season. JH busted his tail in the weight room all off season and it shows.
2) Willie Geter...another solid performance with 90 yards on just 14 carries. He also had 2 receptions for 35 yards although was walking with a limp after the game. Geter is an exciting player and it's awesome he'll be back for 3 more years.
3) The band that played in the tail gate lot. Tons of classic rock and they sounded pretty damn good. They need to be there every game!
3A) Hammb's taco stand. Great idea and a nice change of pace.

1. Vrvilo- he's made 8 FG's in a row and a lot of them have been of the longer variety from the hash.
2. Freddie Barnes- He was the ONLY WR getting open after CP got hurt.
3. Haneline- A bunch of tackles and pick that kept the game from being a blowout.

Thanks, man. I really appreciate that. I will never turn my back on the program...stick with it in good times and bad. As frustrating as it can be at times, I honestly cannot picture myself not having season tickets and following the team around.
BTW, instead of a game ball, can I get a life size poster of your avatar?

Since it was a down performance from all for the most part, my game ball goes to the officials.
I can't remember a game recently where I was not calling for penalties all the time. In fact, I can't remember a blown call at all.
My anti-game ball goes to the scoreboard operator in charge of the field position. The ball must be past a yard line heading to the endzone to be on that yard line. They were off by a yard almost the whole fricking game!

Also toss in Dan Macon. He played really strong late in the game and really bailed the offense when it was running stagnant on his long touchdown catch.
