Gameday...we're all in

Well, its technically gameday. Nevermind that its 1:55 AM and I have to go to class tomorrow morning/afternoon before business picks up at Doyt L Perry at 7:30. On one hand I can't wait for this game but on the other hand I am nervous as hell. Folks this may not be the final confrontation, but right now, Friday November 2, we're all in. This game is the tipping point for how this season will ultimately be judged. After last week's loss we have a short stack, and all our chips are in the middle of the table. If we beat those suckers from the rubber city, we double up and we keep hope alive for a winning season/bowl game/meek outside chance yet at a division title. We keep the enthusiasm of the fans, school, and city going for at least another week, probably through Toledo. But a loss, and the chips are swept off, and all is lost. Two straight home divisional losses at DLP and its all over. The team will have every reason to tank it the rest of the season and GB will likely be powerless to stop it.
We've lost to this team twice in a row under highly questionable circumstances. We lost a divisional game at home last week to a team we should have beaten. There's never been more reason for us to be more pissed off about an opponent. If we can't get up for Akron, we can't get up to play anybody. It's time to take the Zips behind the woodshed and show everybody that no, we're not done and no, Gregg Brandon and the staff aren't just playing out the string and no, the players are capable of taking their game to the next level when we need it!
NOW IS THE TIME! BEAT THE ZIPS!
