Great write ups...one question, though. As far as the East race, BG certainly still has a chance but I didn't see the scenerios involving Ohio.

"For Bowling Green to win the East, one of the following scenarios must occur:

BGSU wins out, and both Miami and Buffalo lose out.
Miami and Buffalo each lose once more, and BGSU wins out.
BGSU beats Buffalo and Miami loses twice."

If Akron can beat Ohio Wed night at the Rubber Bowl, that would knock OU outta contention...I would think. Ohio would have 3 East losses.

Damn...we needed that OU game BiG time. Oh well....Just beat EMU!

GO FALCONS!

BG has become the Zips biggest fans! We need Akron to beat Ohio and Miami or we are basically toast.

I told myself I wasn't gonna get caught up in all of these scenarios, but I can't help it. You nailed it Warthog. I'm a HUGE Zips fan! They basically control our East fate, aside from us winning out.

We need Akron to beat OU this Wednesday. That would knock OU out of the hunt. Then, we need Akron to beat MU on Nov. 14th. Then we need to turn around and hope OU can beat MU. That would give MU 3 East losses, knocking them out. The final piece to the puzzle is BG taking care of business with UB. If the previous scenarios play-out, that would put BG and UB with 2 East losses, with us owning the tie-breaker by virtue of beating UB head-to-head.

Unfortunately, I don't see the planets aligning like that. So, first-things-first, just beat EMU. I don't see a MAC East title in the cards, but winning out and finishing 8-4 gives us the best shot at a 13th game.
