We are all Akron Zip fans over the next week

Akron plays host to Ohio this Wednesday and then faces Miami next Wednesday and we need the Zips to win both. An Akron win over Ohio can eliminate the Bobcats and we need Miami to lose next week. GO AKRON!!!

As I mentioned in another thread, it appears Akron is drifting into a freefall. Meanwhile Solich appears to have the Snobkitties back on track and Miami appears to have righted its ship as well. I'd be mildly surprised if the Zips pull off one win out of those two and absolutely stunned if they won both.
But in the MAC this year, anything is possible.

Well, I think Akron can win both. Teams have changed from week to week in the MAC...look at us! Akron should have their starting QB back this week and can be a tough out at home...they know they can play spoiler and still have a pretty solid D.
I was going to head down to the Rubber Bowl at the half but with Jake under the weather and parent/teacher conferences this week, won't be able to now. Good thing it's on the tube
