Our official checklist toward winning the M.A.C. East according to one of our 'friends' from Miami.

UA beats Ohio: Check

Miami loses to UA:_______

BG beats UB: _______

Miami loses to Ohio: _______

Three blanks there. Its possible with the way both UA and Ohio played tonight!

Right. It was one step in the right direction.

Well, I had to check for the info myself, so I thought that I'd share with you the dates of the below events.

My hope is that Akron uses that win as a confidence builder to finish the season strong and that Ohio uses the loss as motivation to wreak havoc for every team in front of them. :D

I think that BG beating Buffalo and Miami losing to Ohio are highly likely and are probable. But Akron going to Oxford and beating Miami, for some reason I think that's the toughest one. The second domino of the four seems the least likely to fall to me, if that happens we've got a really good shot at it.

The dominoes begin to fall.

(In my best Napoleon Dynamite voice) HECK YES IT'S POSSIBLE!!!!!

2 years ago Akron needs 7 or 8 games to fall their way over the last 2 weeks of the season...and it did. I still can't believe how the stars lined up for them.

Akron can beat Miami...this year, anyone can beat anyone. Ohio U will want to wreck Miami's season since they are BiG rivals and now will be playing the role of spoiler.

Now I really can't wait to get to Ypsilanti. Even though the game will probably have no bearing on the East race, I want to see BG come out sharp, take care of business, hopefully no injuries and get ready for the next BiG playoff game...

GO FALCONS!!!

Ohio has one game left...and it isn't for 2 1/2 weeks. That's a long time to sit around stewing about what could have been. The key is Akron getting by MU and, of course, BG needs to beat Buffalo. But if the Zips get it done, I think BG wins the East cuz I think Ohio will beat MU no matter what. We have nothing to lose at this point...NEVER give up until the MAC office calls and says "Sorry, next year".

This is exciting...It may have been a challenging season so far but it still has a ton of potential.

ROCK THE EAGLES...Take them down hard. Get the attitude that we're rolling along thru the rest of the schedule.

I think I would have to appeal anything the MAC office says with the NCAA first.

Im pretty sure BG beating Eastern and Toledo need to be added to that check list too....cuz if we dont win this week, kiss any of this good bye....

Where have you been? The conference is deciding the divisional races based on intradivisiona records this year. The outcomes gainst UT or EMU will weigh on our bowl chances should we not win the MAC outright, but they have no bearing on our chances to win the east

Think how exciting this could have been not for that lucky interception and TD by that OU stooge. Darn that one will stick in my crawl for a long while!
