Hey, I've got a question for you guys:

The Papajohns.com Bowl will feature a MAC team, right?

I've heard and read conflicting stories on what the situation is. It seems every person who makes bowl projections assumes that the Big East will send a representative.

The Wikipedia page for the Bowl game says that the MAC and Big East will alternate on a year-to-year basis.

Let's just say I'm confused :?

Their website calls for a matchup between Conference USA and the Big East. I believe the MAC comes into play if one of those 2 conferences can't fulfill the bid.

The weird thing is that I sent Pete Fiutak an e-mail telling him the two conferences will alternate each season. Whenever CFN's bowl projections come out, they have a MAC team in that bowl game when they previously had a Big East team before I e-mailed him.

I decided to check out the bowl's Web site today and there was no mention at all about the Mid-American Conference. Which is sort of odd because usually even if a bowl game has an alternate affiliation, they'll throw up some standings, links, etc. regarding that third conference.

This is my understanding.

Wikipedia isn't always right. And, look, if the MAC was their first plan, I would think they'd be marketing that on their Web site.

The fact of the matter is simple...To many bowls.
Each conference should have a Bowl tie in or two at most, and that is it....and that is only assuming that people want to continue with the FRAUD crowning of the electoral ship.
Its sad to have so many bowls.
