Is is just me or did the Illinois offense look eerily similar to BGSU!? Great job for Illinois! Jeez, if we had a "D", we would be so much better.

They looked eerily similar to the Josh Harris lead teams, but not our current squad.

Exactly what I was thinking the entire game. I was just commenting to my father that Tressel's team doesn't really seem to match up well against a spread/option offense with a dual-threat QB. I just think it's hard for Tressel's style of offense to keep up. Yes, OSU's offense is always good, but it isn't as high octane as a lot of other team's. It is something that I think is going to hurt OSU going forward as the spread takes root throughout college football. At the same time, though, there is a reason why there are very few Josh Harris,' Chirs Leaks,' and Juice Williams.' It is rare to find a super athlete that also has a QB's mentality. My word is it fun to watch, though.

Terrell Pryor is the next one. He will be committing to OSU to go along with that monstrous and deep o-line next year. The problem this year and it finally caught up with em was no o-line depth. They get a lot bigger and quicker next year. When Pryor starts in two years they will be a spread team.

The more and more they see the spread the more and more they are gonna figure out how to stop it.

Tonight they didnt respect Illinois passing game, focused too much on the run that Illinois was able to pass successfully. So the defense had to back off and kept allowing Juice to run up the middle.

he is not that great of a passer but he was tonight, good for him. next week he will probably throw 2 INT's. It is just the way he is.

If they focused on the run, it sure didn't look like they were very successful!!!!!

Thats what I am saying.. The intent was to focus on the run, but it opened up the passing game. illinois is not a great passing team so OSU allowed for it to be open. Illinois, yesterday, happened to have a good enough of a passing day to keep the run open as well. They were very balanced yesterday and if you can play that balanced that well, it is hard to lose.

Last night I was out at a local club (West Lafayette,IN) using the restroom & some guy decked out in Illini gear started spazzing out & yelling "F--- the Buckeyes WOOO OH YEA BABY F--- 'EM GOOD!" It might be the funniest & greatest thing I have ever seen in my life! haha
