....or is Chuck Sharon that good? (read carefully!)
MAC wide receivers
Take away Michigan’s Braylon Edwards and you could make a deep All-America team of MAC receivers. Eastern Michigan’s Eric Deslauriers leads the nation in receiving yards averaging 127.89 yards per game and is second in receptions per game. Ball State’s Dante Ridgeway leads the country in catches averaging 12.26 per game. Marshall’s Josh Davis is seventh, Toledo’s Lance Moore is ninth and Western Michigan’s Greg Jennings is 15th. Northern Illinois senior Dan Sheldon is one of the nation’s most explosive receivers averaging 24.36 yards per catch. Also adding to the talent pool are Akron’s Domenik Hixon, Miami’s Ryne Robinson, Ohio’s Scott Mayle, and the slew of Bowling Green receivers Charles Sharon (and his ten touchdowns), Charles Sharon and Cole Magner.
