0-0 in the 1st, Akron just forced a Miami punt.

It's nice that these games are on tv but they always take a back seat to the BCS standings and which team deserves to go to the national championship or who is in the race for the heisman.

Not your typical MAC game so far. If Akron can keep hanging around I like their chances to pull off the upset.

Watching this game further makes you shake your head at how BG managed to get walloped by Miami but then blowout Akron. Neither team has been very impressive so far.

I agree. Here are just a few angry thoughts on ESPN mid-week MAC games:

Big Pick for Akron at the goal line. Still 0-0.

Radabaugh was picked off again in the end zone. Gonna be 0-0 going into halftime.

Is this really a MAC game? Since when do we play defense in this conference?
Giving Miami their due, they are suffering from a lot of injuries right now. They've been banged up all year, but from what I can tell, the injuries are really starting to catch up to them. Akron, on the other hand, has really come on strong here over the last few weeks. Jacquemaine (however the hell you spell that), though, looks atrocious so far. If he can figure it out, or if Akron can bring someone else in for the second half, Akron has a heck of a shot at this game.

Not gonna lie...I'm a huge John Mackey fan as of right now... not only is he a bad ass for playin with a torn ACL, he has two huge picks around the endzone single handidly keeping our MACC hopes alive.

You forgot to mention that he has one HELL of a beard! And the fact that he's a lumberjack and he's okay.

What in the wide, wide world of sports is goin on out there!?!?!
I just turned the game on, 13+ left in the fourth and its scoreless? And no apparent tornadoes, mud pits or 30-degree, 40MPH winds to deal with?
At this point, I hope Akron wins 2-0 with a safety.

Miami with a costly fumble, Akron has moved the ball to the Miami 25.

Injuries or no injuries--Having zero points midway thru the 3rd quarter against any MAC team should automatically eliminate you from winning the division and/or going to a bowl game. Could you imagine if we had this kind of offense in any game? We would be calling the suicide prevention hotline.

Miami with an interception...this has been a horrible, horrible game.
