I was told on the MAC site that 1,000 made the trip to Akron. I would expect more to come to BG, but not more than 2k.

At any rate, I expect BG to hit the Herd with an all out assault in EVERY phase of the game. Fond memories from the Doyt on your last MAC trip!

Blitzkrieg baby.

I expect if 1,000 came out to see the Herd play Akron, as many will come to BG. But they have sour memories of their last trip to DLP Stadium. Their entire season comes down to this game. They aren't going anyplace without a win. I'll say they might bring 1,500 at the most, and will be outnumbered by fans of other MAC schools that show just to cheer against them.

I want BG to not play it too conservative. I don't know how good MU's defense really is, considering whom they have lost to, by how much, etc. If we get a lead on them, we have to pour it on.

Where I think the real difference will be made is our defense shutting them down. The herd has a really lousy OL. I am really hoping BG has a field day with them.

Does their band travel?

I didn't know that one juice harp, two banjos, one whiskey jug and a wash board constitutes a marching band. Amazing what one can learn on this website.

Don't forget the harmonica.

But in all seriousness, NO. For the love of heaven, Marshall's band is NOT coming.

(But if they were, I bet OUR fans, however excited, would manage to refrain from throwing rocks at THEIR band members... which incident happened to a few FMB friends of mine while marching in dear old Huntington a few years back...)

So how many fans do you think you'll bring Mr. Herd?

Whats the All-Time MU-BG series record at?

Whats BG's all-time winning % at home?

Answering one of those three questions will satisfy me. Will it be rough next season in CUSA when the fans from say UAB won't hate you as much as any of the MAC schools?

I dont know how many of us Herd fans will be there but I got my tickets last week and I'm on something like row 29 in the visitors section so I'd expect that section to be full.

They will claim 10K in attendance... when in reality its 1k...

Of course anyone not wearing Orange will be rooting for Marshall as well.

The lockerrooms will be too small...

The lights to bright...

The grass to real...

excuses 101 for Herd Fans..

And if they lose it will be because they got jobbed the by crappy refs of this crappy conference.

They'll be so happy they'll be moving onto a real conference soon...

Good Riddance Marshall!

Turn on the sprinklers!

Post by transfer2BGSU »

I sure hope we don't forget to turn on the sprinklers Friday night before going home. Wouldn't want that field to be too nice and soft. Want it to be nice and wet and slippery so the Herd players can't run as fast.
