Tent Menu

Hey guys. Grant asked me to post a thread to discuss menu options for the tent this saturday.

Laura & I discussed it at last week's tailgate and she is going to be bringing eggs & sausage and I told her that I could make omlettes out of them without too much trouble. I'll also be bringing some ham and maybe some mushrooms to put in omlettes. I'll also have some hashbrown patties (like the ones from McD's).

What else should we make? Its going to be an early start (I'm thinking of a 7:00 AM ETA) so breakfast sounded like a pretty good start to me.

After having the pleasure of sampling your culinary skills Saturday (and hartmom's capable drink pouring abilities), I must say that I have yet another reason to be sad about not being able to attend this game.

Glad you enjoyed it '87. It was great to finally meet you & Noah. When you make it back to another game, make sure to stop by at our tailgate again. At the very least we can assure you that you'll eat well :)

Back to the topic of the thread, Grant also mentioned that he'd be making Chili :)

I will be bringing chili and MAYBE my habanero/lime cheesecake that I brought last year...I just don't know if I'll have time to make that or not. The chili gets made tomorrow though. Oh yeah!!!

C'mon people!! What can you bring to the party?!?!?!

If I can locate a proper grill, I'll bring some beer brats. Nothing beats a brat that's been boiled and steeped overnight in beer.

I think I'll womp up some cookies too...

Beer is good.

I'm with Grant though on Canadian beer, but don't worry about me, I'll have my own.

I'm thinking no Jaeger though this year...

You might actually remember some of the tailgate if you follow through with this, you know... ;-)

Hey I remember dropping my omlette on the ground last year!

I also remember bits & pieces of the football game!

Heck at least I didn't vomit and pass out in my car ;) LOL

If you start tailgating at 7am, I am stopping over on my band lunch break! It's the last home game and I need to hit up the tailgates atleast once...even if it's only for a few minutes!!!
