Which Bowl Do You Prefer?

I just wondered what the general feeling was towards the 3 bowls the MAC is contracted with.
Obviously the Motor City Bowl is ideal because of location, but I wondered what we thought of the 3 bowls we could "possibly" go to. (I realize MCB is probably not an option)
Any experiences anyone wants to share about these bowls would be great.

Motor City Bowl- great Alumni time- great game- great crowd- great fun-well run- GREAT people- We Won!
GMAC- great bowl experience- fun stuff to do- -GREAT parade-great food-new part of the country for me- more wet than I have ever been and I loved it. We won!
Int- Bowl- haven't been there. but I love Toronto in the summer 8) But it is run by the MCB people and they are awesome!

If there is the possibility of me going to any of these possible bowls, it's gonna be the Motor City Bowl. Easy to travel from the Cleveland area (around 2 hours), don't need to get a room for the night, just a better opportunity for those of us with what you could call "Financial hardships."

Has to be the GMAC Bowl. The Motor City was fun, and I'm sure that the people in Toronto do a wonderful job, too, but I can't imagine any community embracing a bowl game and the participant's fans the way the people of Mobile do. I probably won't be able to afford to go to the GMAC this year (whereas I probably would the other two), but I would much rather stay home and watch the game on TV if it means that other BG fans will have the opportunity to experience what I did in 2004.
The parade and pep rally the night before the game are one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm sure it's not as cool as Mardi Gras in the French Quarter, but I've never been there, so this is my number one!

Never been to Mobile. Hence, I'd like to make a trip down yonder. I don't want to have to deal with international border issues (I'm wanted in 48 states..parking tickets mostly, no big deal.) Honestly, I've yet to make it to a BG bowl game, and Mobile would make it the easiest coming from the left coast. Still, and I know we don't wanna talk about this, but I'm still waiting for a definite invite. If it's GMAC or International, look for the 32 year old dude wearing his old BG track and field warm-ups in the tailgate area. Oh yeah, I'll probably be double fisting natty lights as well. I don't give a fu$# where we end up, just as long as we're bowling (Green)!!!
How 'bout them Falcons!?!

INTERNATIONAL BOWL !!!
Pilgrimmage to the Hockey Hall of Fame and the CUP included !
5-6 hours from NE Ohio, no air travel prices, no air travel delays, is still on Holiday break for those of us with kids that have to be back in school on Monday, not to mention the entire student body of BG as well (especially players, band, student support staff, etc.).
Canadian $ almost on a par with US$...so no confusing math with every transaction.
Indoor stadium, etc etc etc.
I fear that if it isn't International, that I won't be able to attend. I have already written off the MCB as I assume that Central will gladly accept it first for their own selfish yet well deserved reasons.
AD says we should probably know this week, which after giving some thought to his answer tells me that the MACC doesn't have to be played for us to be invited and our acceptance.
And if we go to the International, it will time to change the words of Oh Canada, to O-Drobinak!

Here's the problem with GMAC. It's the day before classes start! So for me, a BG student who goes to every single game, I would be leaving the game late, as it is a late afternoon kickoff, and either slamming on the gas pedal and pointing the car north until I arrive at BG, or paying to fly to and from Mobile. If it is GMAC, then I will go to the game and find a way to make it work, but I'd much rather it be International or Motor City.

International...Motor City would be too tough from Virginia the day after Thanksgiving. I might be able to pull it off though I figure realistically we won't be in it so I chose International, only problem is finding an affordable flight from somewhere between RDU and Dulles. I gotta be in Lynchburg by 8 am on Monday morning after the GMAC bowl so that is a no go.

International -- Short drive, Saturday game, no prior planning necessary.
GMAC -- Can't do it. Need to be here on Monday.

The Sunday date makes it very hard for most people to travel. If the GMAC was on Saturday, I would prefer it, but since it is on Sunday, I vote International Bowl.

For the players, I would like to see either the GMAC or International Bowl. They won a bowl bid and I believe they have earned a true bowl experience.
GMAC Bowl really does a great job for the players (and is great experience for the fans).
I respect the Motor City Bowl and would be happy for the team to play in the game, but I'm not sure it truly gives the players a feel of a real bowl experience. Plus the players would not get to spend Christmas day with their families.
For my own selfish reasons, I would like to see us play in the International Bowl. No passport problems for me (I took care of that last year when all of the talk about needing a passport to get back in the country was going on so I don't have any sympathy for those that are complaining; besides you do not require a passport if you drive into Canada at this time). I can make Toronto without any problems related to work.
If you have not been to the GMAC Bowl, you need to go!!!!

Since it is "which bowl do YOU prefer" and the you being me... I say GMAC or Motor City. I cannot make it to Toronto. I go to MCB every year no matter who is in it, but GMAC is the best bowl experience and more of my family members would be able to attend it.
Looking forward to getting the definitive word. What a fun problem to have in late November!

Those instant rice bowls from Uncle Ben are pretty tasty. I'll take one of those.

i'd be up for either the international or motor city bowl. GMAC is a little too much of a drive... it's still possible i'd go... just not quite as likely as the other two.
