Who will win the Vern Smith Award as MAC Player of the year?

Who will win?
Goddard. He's a senior with outstanding defensive numbers.
Who should win?
Omar or Wolfe. By far, the best two talents in the league, but probably to young.
Who doesn't deserve to be on this poll?
Brucie. He can't throw a pass over twenty yards accurately to save his life and an inordinate amount of attention alone does not make you POTY.
Who votes on this? If its the media, then the young guys could be out of luck.

I think the results of this poll on this board may be a little biased
I'm not so sure Goddard will win it because he is a defensive player

I would say Omar or Wolfe....Goddard is gonna find out what a real offensive line can do to him.

I think Omar's success hurts Gradkowski because it makes him less special.
My money is on Goddard, and that might be the Right Thing To Do as well.

I think it will depend on the outcome of the league and who the west champ is. Also on if they got their team to a bowl.

I think everyone here totally agrees with that sentiment. The fun thing to do is to try and project the winner right now.
