8/30 @ Pitt
9/6 vs MINNESOTA
9/20 @ Wyoming
10/4 @ Boise St (I'd call this one tentative until the MAC gets their s**t together and releases a schedule. )

Home games with Miami, Buffalo, Kent, and one MAC West team (some think we are scheduled to play NIU)
Away games at Toledo, Ohio, Akron, and Temple.

Looking at the calender for next year, it looks like there is an extra week in the football season. In 2007, there were only 13 Saturdays from the beginning of the season (9/1) to the weekend after Thanksgiving. In 2008 there are 14 Saturdays from the start of the season (8/30) to the weekend after Thanksgiving (11/29). So this means we could get two off weeks next year.

Here is a completely unqualified guess at a schedule:

8/30 @ Pitt
9/6 MINNESOTA
9/13 open
9/20 @ Wyoming
9/27 NORTHERN ILLINIOS
10/4 @ Boise St
10/11 @ Temple
10/18 KENT
10/25 @ Ohio
11/1 MIAMI
11/8 @ Akron
11/15 BUFFALO
11/25 (Tues) @ Toledo

Man, do I love when Warthog posts about likely schedules ... um, and I mean that in a totally hetero, respectful sort of way.

Hmmm ... only two home games before October 18? Ugh.

Does that mean your coming to both home games before the 18thor that there are two home games before the 18th?

Well, that's what happens when you only have ***** 5 ***** home games a year and 7 road games. Make it 6 and 6 *****, is that so hard?

According to GC, we will have 6 home games and 6 away in 2009. FINALLY. It doesn't have to be 10 homes games like OSU...

6 will be great.

Have you ever seen anyone else around here post anything like that? One of the nice things about this board for me is not having to put up with this kind of crap like you do in other forums. Be considerate to who might be reading the board. What if the Freaklings are reading that right now?

The sad part is I didn't even have to scroll up the post to see who had posted this. Knew it instantly.
