I have no idea where. I have no idea who.

But as I'm not going, am stuck here in the middle of Ohio, I surely can't be alone.

Who, where, and when does anybody want to do something festive?

I'm sure the junction in hilliard would be up for a BG bowl bash. I could ask the manager or whoever if they would be willing to show the game on like all the tv's.

This is a great opportunity to get together and lay down the groundwork to come up with a longterm solution to this problem.

I'm up in and near the Westerville area personally. Since its a Sunday, no work issues. Anyplace "Fun" is good.

I'm around Westerville as well. Perhaps I could call the BW3 on Polaris to see if we could work something out?

Do you think there'll be more than ten people there? Is there perhaps a strategy we could employ to get the word out?

BW's on Polaris is within site of my office, but I've not been there.

Donno about numbers as yet. However what I'm waiting to see is what, if anything the Columbus chapter of the Alumni association does. I can't think they won't float feelers to the local leadership, so see what, if anything, they are doing. But I'm also sure those meetings haven't been held by Mo and crew at Mileti. I've not been active in the alumni association for several years now, and not since before moving down here.

I'll start putting some feelers out to some folks I'm well overdue to contact, make some notes as I'm in the field this week.

My vote is for junction in Hilliard. From what I understand it is run by some BG people and I think they would be rather accommodating. It would give me a break from all this darn OSU talk, I can't get away from it.

Except that odds are good the GMAC Bowl broadcast will be a 3 hour ad for the BCS Title Game.

Let's hope BG and Tulsa put on a show that doesn't give them a chance to talk about anything not taking place in Mobile that night. (And no Pam Ward, please. Thanks.)

Well with GMAC Bowl on ESPN and the next night's game on Fox maybe they will keep the talk to a minimum.

I doubt that, ESPN never once mentioned the MAC, WAC (outside of Hawaii), MWC, Sun Belt and just UCF of C-USA. ESPN knows people aren't gonna care about a game between two non-BCS teams a night before the national title game. I expect it to be OSU/LSU laden with numerous interviews with tools like Craig James and Doug Flutie.

Yea, it will be interesting to see how much piping for the BCS Title game ESPN and ABC does with it on Fox. My guess would be the games before New Years will be the ones suffering having to hear about the Rose Bowl.

I watched last year's GMAC Bowl, until it got out of hand. Certainly, the "national championship" game came up, but it was nowhere near as bad as the Ohio State-Michigan chatter was during (if memory serves) the last year's Miami-Bowling Green game. That was the all time absurdity. I've never seen worse for any game -- and I almost wonder if they have intentionally dialed it back from that extreme.

There's little doubt that Junction will offer the best deal in terms of number of TVs and price; however the location is somewhat difficult for me.

I'm willing to go where the group goes though, any thoughts?

Also, I'm wondering what avenues are available to get the word out that we are meeting up.
