Just listened to Gregg Brandon this morning on the Mobile sports radio (WNSP) He'll be in Mobile Monday for a press conference. They spoke for about 5 minutes. Here are some highlights:

- Asked if this team was as explosive as the '04 team "not quite...we score 33 pts. a game, but that '04 team with Omar broke a MAC record for most points scored"

- On Tulsa "very explosive team, leads country in offense, 5th year QB is the difference maker"

- Were expectations met "we thought with this team, 7 or 8 wins would = a great season, we only have 12 seniors, with 7 that actually play, we were 4-4 and won out, we are playing our best football in November"

- How far is Ohio State and do they get every player in Ohio "it's about 2 hours north, OSU gets every player in Ohio (laughs)"

- On the BCS " the best two teams are playing, even if you had playoffs, some one would be complaining that they didn't make, look at the NCAA basketball tourney it's not perfect either"

Well, isn't BG about 2 hours north of Ohio State? Am I missing something?

The question was phrased in a way that leads me to believe they meant how far is Ohio State FROM Bowling Green. Under that presumption the answer is about 2 hours SOUTH. To me this is just one of those things you look at your buddy, laugh, and give him a hard time about.

I would assume it's because the question was also about recruiting and like it or not, OSU is an obstacle to our recruiting in state, no matter how you slice it.

OSU is an obstacle to everyone and ever team recruiting in the State of Ohio. Mention Ohio to a football fan and I think OSU comes to mind first every stink time.
