A look back on '07

Post by Bleeding Orange »

I realize that CFN pretty much blows, but I came across this and thought it was a pretty insightful, fairly accurate, game-by-game summary of our season. I actually didn't know that CFN.com did this. Enjoy.

I don't understand why some people here knock on collegefootballnews.com. It's the most in-depth (and fairly accurate) website I've found that covers EVERY D1A program. And, no offense Bleeding, but you've just found this? They do this type of breakdown after every weekend has concluded.
Let's kick the f#@k out of Tulsa!!!! Go BG!

People around here rag on CFN because, generally, they are a bunch of twits who give the MAC and other "non-BCS" conferences 1/100 of the coverage that they give the "BCS" conferences. If you're wondering why we pick on them, you're just not paying attention.

And I don't take any offense whatsoever to your assertion that I should know about these recaps. I simply don't pay attention to CFN. I mean to, just like I mean to pay attention to uscho.com and insidecollegehockey.com for hockey, but I just don't. I'm a self-professed idiot. :-D I just thought this was an interesting read in retrospect.

We do need to show Tulsa what Falcons can do to hurricanes! :)

Gotcha. And by-the-way, you are NOT a self-professed idiot. You're a good person. You know how I know? Because you're good enough.....smart enough....and dog gone it, people like you.
Nah, seriously, Bleeding, you're a good man! Take care.

I think that site is trash. Any committed group of young freshmen at a dormitory chosen at random could probably do the same level of work -- and, perhaps, exceed it in panache.

The writing on the site is truly amateurish. I can't get past that.
