Very impressive to see that 6 former MAC athletes were name to the 2007 NFL Pro Bowl. This list includes:

Ben Rothlesberger (Miami), James Harrison, (Kent), Joshua Cribbs, (Kent), Randy Moss, (Marshall), Jason Taylor, (Akron), and Antonio Gates, (Kent). While it is true that Gates did not play football at Kent there is no doubt he could have had he chosen too. I find it interesting that Kent hd 3 players chosen which may have been as many as any other school in the country. A number of NFL experts felt that Greg Jennings, (Western Michigan), should have made the team as well.

The MAC has a lot to be proud of.

I work with a Kent grad, and watching a San Diego game while listening to the Browns one day at work, I asked her how in the hell Kent Freaking State could have so many NFL players.

I didn't expect it, but actually did a double take for Suisham's name when the rosterrs came out. He's had a pretty strong year.
