Anyone watch the CUSA smack down of the Tigers tonight?
man did they just get blasted and once the starting qb got hit and went down...it even worse.
a tale of things to come.

Well, as far as this season goes, I do hope it is a very telling sign of things to come.
Still, I was very confused watching this game. On the one hand, I was pulling for FAU because they are a great story, and I love the fact that Howie S. still wears a suit on sidelines. On the other hand, I had a fantastic time with the Memphis fans in '04 down in Mobile, and I respect the hell out of them as a group.
I'm happy for FAU, but I'm sad for Memphis. Man, do I need some friggin' Prozac!

I suppose your bleeding heart would have preferred that they met for a prayer and sang Kumbaya?
Does your husband watch football too?

I had Memphis in my office bowl pool (which yours truly won last year over 70 others...made $320!

) FAU looked pretty good...but has Memphis ever had a D????
It's the only game I've missed so far except Boise State needs to pick it up in the 2nd half.

I have them beating ECU.

I'm undefeated so far. I remember the Memphis team that didn't win many games last year and I made a killing betting on a FAU all year, including their game against USF. I need Boise to score at least 14pts in the last minutes here though..

Looked like Boise St. was going to have another miracle finish but they could never really stop ECU when they had to.

I couldn't believe that fumble happened and bounced right up to that Boise player.
Boise State is a solid team but I don't think they are what they were the last couple years. A step down but still a pretty good team.

They actually weren't all that talented in years past. They were just really well coached & played together as a team. You can tell from last night that they still have both of those things, but you could also tell ECU was at least even with them on athletic ability.

I disagree on the talent. It's there in Boise but Tharp isn't on the level of Zabransky or Dinwiddie. Boise State has lost 2 games in a row...when is the last time that happened?
ECU impressed me with their play...I didn't know much about them.

Not to mess up the flow of the form but do we play Boise next year.

Yeah, and the game should be here at the Doyt. Because we/the MAC/Ohio/Rick Chryst f'ed everything up we have to play at Boise again.

Yeah thanks 24 for reminding us, that still pisses me off every time I think about it.

Very nice win for ECU and CUSA over a solid WAC team in a WAC stadium.
