Remaining Schedule - Plain Dealer Reporter

I actually like how the end of the season is playing out for us schedule wise. True, we have run through a bunch of games where we haven't had much of a challenge.
That's why I like playing Marshall at home before we have to go to Toledo. The Marshall defense is a lot tougher than the Rockets defense. If we can continue to move the ball and put up points in this game, we'll have settled the "untested the last six weeks" questions in our minds and the teams. Having this game at home is huge plus for us. Its just the right mix of opponent and home cooking we need to set us up for the showdown next week in the glAss Bowl. Our offense will have to outscore the Rockets in this one, because they will move the ball and score on our defense.
Also, the Cleveland Plain Dealer had a story yesterday about the MAC bowl possibilities. The reporter (Elton Alexander) stated that "the division winners get the MAC's two automatic bowl bids." I can't believe that a reporter that has the MAC as his major beat, can't get something like that right! I e-mailed him and let him know that only the MACC winner is assured a bowl bid. The other bid is up to the remaining bowl's selection committee.
